If the message of the day or update servers are down you may have problems logging into Tribes2 when using the standard autoupdater front end. Sometimes you will also receive the message "Your version xxxxx is out of date but no update patch is available". To enter Tribes2 when this problem occurs make a batch file or shortcut for Tribes2.exe that adds the option -online. Use the batch file or shortcut to launch Tribes2.
