Acceleration Ramp
	Catapults the player over an area that would otherwise be impossible to jump.

Jump Pad
	Used to gain access to items and platforms and avoid other players.

Portal
	Similar to a teleport except that you can see through to the other side, can be used to track and telefrag a player.

Platform
	Used to navigate between high and low areas/levels on some maps.

Switches
	Used to gain access to hidden or locked areas.

Teleport
	Used on many levels to move between areas.
